Who you are:

We’re looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity & IT Operations Lead to own and elevate our security posture and IT operations. This is a one-year contractual position with the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs. This high-impact hybrid role blends strategic cybersecurity leadership with hands-on service delivery. You’ll be instrumental in implementing and managing our ISO 27001-aligned ISMS, overseeing infrastructure, and mentoring distributed teams across Nepal and Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

Cybersecurity Leadership

  • Implement and manage an ISO 27001-compliant ISMS

  • Lead risk assessments, threat analysis, and incident response planning

  • Drive policies, controls, and audits to enhance organizational security

  • Manage tools like SentinelOne, firewalls, IAM, and access controls

  • Deliver security training and foster a security-first culture

IT Operations Oversight

  • Oversee daily IT support/helpdesk operations and SLAs

  • Manage IT assets, procurement, vendors, and SaaS systems (Google Workspace, M365, VoIP, etc.)

  • Optimize ITSM processes and support disaster recovery and business continuity

Team Leadership & Strategic Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor IT/security staff across regions

  • Align cybersecurity and IT strategies with business goals

  • Report on risks, metrics, and progress to leadership

  • Drive upskilling and performance initiatives across your team

What We're Looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Networking, IT Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 5–8 years’ experience in cybersecurity + IT operations roles
  • Hands-on expertise with ISO 27001, ISMS, EDR/XDR tools, cloud & networks
  • Strong track record in managing IT service delivery and operational KPIs
